Historic, record-breaking victory for New York over Brooklyn

He finished with 40 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds, delivering a complete performance that once again confirmed his status as one of the league’s premier stars.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers secured a hard-fought 94–87 victory over the Charlotte Hornets thanks to 24 points from their star Donovan Mitchell, while Jalen Duren impressed with 20 points and 15 rebounds to guide the Detroit Pistons to a 112–104 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

The night also featured a strong collective display from the Toronto Raptors, with three players scoring more than 20 points in a 122–109 victory over the Sacramento Kings, while Jaylen Brown powered the Boston Celtics past the Indiana Pacers 119–104 with a 30-point performance. The evening concluded with a thrilling win for the Atlanta Hawks over the Memphis Grizzlies, 124–122, led by Jalen Johnson, who delivered an outstanding all-around display with 32 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists.
