The upcoming fixtures for Arsenal in the league are not easy at all, especially considering the team’s two strong confrontations against the German team Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Arteta will wait to see how things turn out at the end of the season to complete his project, which will likely see the departure of several players. This includes goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who is reportedly not satisfied with his role in the team.

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Newcastle United is interested in acquiring Arsenal’s goalkeeper. The goalkeeper is said to aspire to play regularly after losing his main position in the team’s lineup this season to the Spanish goalkeeper David Raya, who is on loan from Brentford.

This interest comes despite Newcastle United already having English goalkeeper Nick Pope, who has been sidelined with a shoulder injury for a few months. Coach Eddie Howe is currently relying on goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

However, Newcastle is targeting Ramsdale (25 years old) as a young option, given that Dubravka is 35 years old and Pope is 32 years old.

Howe is known to be a big admirer of Ramsdale’s abilities, having previously signed him when he was the coach of Bournemouth in 2017.
