This matter made headlines in the English newspapers. The “Mirror” newspaper headlined: “City Furious at Sick Chants Directed at Sir Bobby,” while the “Daily Star” newspaper wrote: “City Apologizes to the Grieving Family and Promises Penalties.”

Furthermore, this rivalry comes in light of the rise in confidence within both camps following their recent victories. Manchester United full-back, Portuguese player Diogo Dalot spoke about the importance of his team’s recent successes, saying, “I believe that every match represents an opportunity for us to demonstrate our ability to build confidence and momentum.” He continued, “Gaining confidence is easy when you win, and when you don’t play the way you want to, you must find a way to win.
