Real Madrid star angry while another misses Champions League final
Real Madrid star Rodrygo expressed his anger after a verbal altercation with a former player of the Los Blancos during the match between the Spanish champions and Villarreal yesterday, Sunday, which ended in a 4-4 draw in La Liga
Rodrygo’s anger was evident due to the harsh tackles from defender Raúl Albiol, to whom he said: “You kicked me twice very hard without any chance of playing the ball.” He added, “Be more careful, my friend.”
Rodrygo’s frustration seems justified as he fears an injury that could prevent him from participating in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.
Albiol is a former Real Madrid player from 2009 to 2013 before moving to Italian side Napoli. He and his team managed to secure a point after a strong comeback from the “Yellow Submarine” witnessed Norwegian striker Alexander Sørloth scoring four goals, leading the La Liga scoring chart with 23 goals.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed that one of Real Madrid’s key players will miss the final against German side Borussia Dortmund, scheduled for June 1st.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Marca,” Frenchman Aurélien Tchouaméni will not recover from his injury before the final match, which will be held at Wembley Stadium in London.
The Spanish newspaper noted that Tchouaméni tried everything possible to expedite his recovery, but it is now confirmed that he will miss the anticipated showdown.
Tchouaméni sustained a foot fracture during the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.
“Marca” also explained that Tchouaméni’s participation in the European Championship will not be easy, but French coach Didier Deschamps will make the final decision regarding that.
The newspaper revealed that Tchouaméni sought different medical opinions to find a solution that could shorten his recovery time. He even traveled to the United States to consult an American specialist, but the latter confirmed the same recovery timeline.
It concluded by explaining that bone fractures require players to adhere to specific recovery periods to ensure a safe return to matches.
