Mane Seeks Exit from Al-Nassr Amid Tensions with Ronaldo

Sadio Mane is reportedly looking to leave Saudi club Al-Nassr due to growing tensions with the team’s captain, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to the French website Foot Mercato, the future of the Senegalese winger remains uncertain despite his move to Al-Nassr from Bayern Munich last summer.

In his debut season with Al-Nassr, Mane netted 19 goals and provided 11 assists. However, as the atmosphere within the club has soured, the Capital Club has begun offering him to other teams.

Al-Nassr is now searching for a resolution to the strained relationship between Ronaldo and Mane, with the latter’s departure being seen as a potential solution, despite his contract running until June 2026.

Reports have surfaced suggesting that the management of Al-Ittihad, another prominent Saudi club, decided to pull out of the Mane deal during the current summer transfer window. Saudi sources indicate that Al-Ittihad withdrew due to Al-Nassr’s lack of serious engagement following the Saudi Super Final.

The sources confirmed that the deal is on the brink of collapse, with Al-Ittihad now exploring alternative options due to time constraints.

There have been rumors of Mane possibly joining Al-Ittihad on loan, a move that the Jeddah-based club is open to as they seek to bolster their squad after a disappointing last season.
