سجّل النجم المصري محمد صلاح هدفاً ساهم من خلاله في فوز فريقه ليفربول على ضيفه برينتفورد 0-2، في مباراة احتضنها ملعب "أنفيلد رود"، أمس الأحد، ضمن مباريات الأسبوع الثاني من الدوري الإنكليزي الممتاز لكرة القدم وجاء هدف صلاح في الدقيقة 70 من زمن المباراة، إذ تلقى الكرة من خارج منطقة الجزاء ثم توجّه نحو مرمى المنافس قبل أن يطلقها في الشباك. وبهذا الهدف أصبح صلاح أكثر لاعب هزّ شباك برينتفورد في "البريميير ليغ" بمجموع 6 أهداف. وواصل "الفرعون" المصري انطلاقته القوية في الموسم الجديد حيث تمكّن من التسجيل في الجولتين الأولى والثانية للمرة الأولى منذ انضمامه إلى صفوف "الريدز". كما وصل النجم البالغ من العمر 32 عاماً الى المساهمة التهديفية الرقم 128 في ملعب فريقه في "البريميير ليغ"، محرزاً 93 هدفاً الى جانب تقديمه 35 تمريرة حاسمة. اما بالنسبة الى ليفربول فقد وصل بهذا الانتصار إلى نقطته السادسة ليقف في المركز الرابع على لائحة الترتيب العام، بفارق الأهداف خلف مانشستر سيتي وبرايتون وأرسنال بالرصيد عينه من النقاط. وقال المدرب الهولندي أرنه سلوت الذي يحلّ فريقه ضيفاً على مانشستر يونايتد في قمة المرحلة الثالثة في نهاية الأسبوع الحالي: "في الشوط الأول كان لدى برينتفورد طاقةً أكبر، ثم في الشوط الثاني اختلف الأمر، فأدى ذلك في النهاية إلى ظهور فجوات". وتابع: "في النهاية لم يعد لدى برينتفورد القوة للدفاع أمامنا". بدوره قال لاعب الوسط الأرجنتيني أليكسيس ماك أليستر: "نعلم أن هناك تطوّراً يجب علينا تحقيقه. على صعيد التحوّلات، يفترض علينا التحلي بالصبر أحياناً، لكننا في خضم مرحلة انتقالية". وأكمل: "يعمل الجميع بجدّ لاستيعاب أفكار أرنه".

Brentford Becomes the Latest Victim in Mohamed Salah’s Historic Record

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah scored a crucial goal that helped Liverpool secure a 2-0 victory over Brentford at Anfield on Sunday, during the second week of the English Premier League.

Salah’s goal came in the 70th minute when he received the ball outside the penalty area, advanced towards the goal, and fired a shot into the back of the net.

With this goal, Salah became the player with the most goals against Brentford in Premier League history, bringing his tally to six goals.

The “Egyptian Pharaoh” continued his strong start to the new season, marking the first time he has scored in both the first and second rounds since joining the Reds.

The 32-year-old star also reached an impressive milestone, with 128 goal contributions at Anfield in the Premier League—scoring 93 goals and providing 35 assists.

For Liverpool, this victory brought them to six points, placing them fourth in the standings, level on points with Manchester City, Brighton, and Arsenal but trailing on goal difference.

Dutch coach Arne Slot, whose team is set to visit Manchester United in the third round later this weekend, reflected on the match, saying, “In the first half, Brentford had more energy, but the second half was different, and that eventually led to gaps opening up.”

He added, “In the end, Brentford no longer had the strength to defend against us.”

Argentine midfielder Alexis Mac Allister also commented, “We know there’s progress we need to make. In terms of transitions, we need to be patient at times, but we’re in the midst of a transitional phase.”

He concluded, “Everyone is working hard to understand Arne’s ideas.”
