The City Football Group–owned side, currently competing in La Liga and European contention, would offer Ter Stegen top-flight football and a platform to restore match sharpness.

For Barcelona, the deal would ease squad congestion while reinforcing their commitment to García’s development. For Ter Stegen, it represents a chance to remind Spanish football of his elite pedigree. Whether this loan proves a short-term detour or a turning point in his Camp Nou career remains one of the most intriguing subplots of the season.
