Bayern Stumble as Kane Struggles in Cameo: Benfica Clinch Top Spot in Club World Cup Group C

The result sees Benfica top the group and likely set up a Round of 16 clash with Chelsea, who only need a draw against ES Tunis to secure second in Group D. Bayern, now runners-up in Group C, are slated to face Brazilian giants Flamengo, meaning a more difficult path ahead that could include PSG in the quarter-finals.

Sané, who is confirmed to leave Bayern after this tournament, will be eager to redeem himself in the knockout stages following what could be remembered as a wasteful performance.
