Betway Academy – Place a Bet

To place a bet you need to add the bet to your bet slip, enter the amount you wish to bet and then confirm the bet.
You can navigate to the bet you want to place in a few different ways.

Log in and go to the sports home page, then choose the sport your bet relates to.
For example, if you want to place a bet on a cricket event, you need to select cricket.

You can also find the sport from the top left menu.

Once you’ve chosen the sport you want to place a bet on, select the league or tournament from the events available.

Select a winning team by tapping the home/away odds or click on a match to see more markets. Click on ‘outrights’ to view markets based on the entire tournament or league.

Tap the odds of your chosen market and you’ll be presented with a bet slip.
Enter the amount you want to bet in the ‘stake’ box and click on ‘Place Bet’ to confirm your bet.

You can place bets faster if you accept all odds and line changes.
This means that if the odds or line changes after you confirm your bet, then any odds or line changes will be automatically accepted.

You can also navigate to current events by clicking any of the “Quick Links” at the bottom of the sports page.

How do I view my placed bets?You can view your bets under the ‘My Bets’ tab on the bottom menu.
Select either ‘open bets’ – to see what bets you have in play – or ‘settled bets’ to see what bets you’ve previously made.

I placed a bet by accident. Can I cancel or change my bet later?Once you’ve placed your bet, you won’t be able to change or cancel it – please consider this before you confirm your bet.
